A PIN per edition
Programmer and Client PINs are separate. A Programmer PIN won't open the Client, and a Client PIN won't open the Programmer.
Bosch 6000 Programmer was built by Vantic for Gentex AU, and Gentex AU licenses it to each person who uses it. Every copy needs a personal PIN for its edition, and it checks that PIN online while it runs, so Gentex AU can issue and withdraw access at any time.
Fill in the request form and choose the Programmer or the Client. Gentex AU reviews every request by hand.
If approved, Gentex AU sends you a personal 12-character PIN for that edition, by email or phone.
Enter it when the app first opens. The PIN binds to that PC.
While it runs, the app re-checks the PIN every few minutes.
Programmer and Client PINs are separate. A Programmer PIN won't open the Client, and a Client PIN won't open the Programmer.
A PIN works only on the PC it was issued for, or the number of PCs agreed with you. On any other PC it's refused and the attempt is recorded, so PINs can't be shared.
The app checks its PIN when it starts and every few minutes after. A revoked or expired PIN stops working at the next check.
The app keeps retrying in the background. If it can't confirm the PIN for about ten minutes, it locks, and it unlocks by itself once it can check again. On site, use Wi-Fi or a phone hotspot.
Both count as a new PC. Ask us to reset your PIN, then enter it again. The old PC stops working at its next check.
Your activation is kept. If you're asked for the PIN, enter it again and the same PC carries on.
The app locks at its next check and shows why. If it's reactivated, press Try again and you're back in.
To bind and protect each PIN, the licence server records the PC it's activated on (computer name, Windows user name, app version and IP address). Nothing from your sites or panels is ever sent. Read the privacy notes.
